really what its all about!

As a member, we encourage you to participate as much as you like, as

long as the topics are relevant of course. It’s therefore important tp be

able to read what others have said as well as post your own content, as

and when you wish to. Our system is designed to be quick & easy to use,

but for those that want a little extra help, we’ll explain things here.

Reading online content

Anyone is free to browse our online content. Simply select an option from the button bar or menu at the top of the page to access the relevant section.

Posting your own messages & content

We actively encourage you to get involved - if you think something related to Zanzibar would be of interest to other members of the group, why not share it? Posting your own content is also very easy. For added security, the posting of content is only available to members who’s email address have been added to our Google mailing group. This is by invitation only & must usually be requested. To request this, simply email the administrator. Posting to the mailing group Once added to the mailing group, you can easily post a message, photos or articles etc. to the group by email… • Open your normal email application. • Add a title, message & optionally photos or other attachments to the message. Please include a relevant title so people can search on it later. • Send the message to KPZanzibar@googlegroups.com. By using the above email address, every member will be notified of, and be able to view your post! You don’t need to include other addresses, unless you want the message to be seen by someone who’s not a member of the community. Posting online The administration team also montior posted information. If they think a post would be better placed online, they will automatically copy it to the relevant page on the website. However, if you believe a message would be better placed online, you can also email the administrator to prompt them to check more quickly. Receiving details of other’s new posts As a member of the mailing group, you’ll automatically be notified when someone else posts to the group. Messages from the group are prefixed “KPZ:”. Viewing older posts As a new member of the mailing group, you may be interested in older messages sent by others beofre you joined. To see these, you can access the Google group directly using the the instructions below. Please note that to do this, your email address must be known to Google. If it isn’t, you won’t be able to login to the group. If you need helpo, please email the administrator. • Open a browser window & access the URL groups.Google.com. • When prompted, enter your email address & password, or choose the account registered to the mailing group. • A list of mailing groups will be shown. If the group isn’t shown, check that you’re logged on with the correct email address (top right corner of the page). • Select the group KPZanzibar” • A list of recent posts will be shown. • Select a post to view mnore details.
